Marketing Manager to Vocean

Our idea and activity engines provide a super easy way to share your best ideas with any number of colleagues, customers or consumers and get real-time data-driven feedback. For the past few months, our developers have been building the platform and now its time to drive customer acquisition and growth.

VOCEAN is seeking a creative, talented, hard-working marketing specialist to help manage our growth strategy and implement our day-to-day tactical process.

Who you are:

A complete self-starter. We don’t micromanage and believe that every employee’s voice should be highly valued and considered. You will rely on your experience to focus on what you know works, but will not be afraid to get outside your comfort zone to try something you suspect could work better. You aren’t afraid to make mistakes, and view them as learning experiences that will help inform your future decisions. You are independent, but not afraid to ask for help from your colleagues when you get stuck. You are highly collaborative, and value input from your cross-functional colleagues to get a holistic view of key strategic issues.

What you need:

  • 2-3 years of product marketing, inbound marketing, marketing communications, social media and/or design experience with a product-focused B2B or B2C company. It’s not required that you have strong experience in all of these, but preferred candidates will have a solid focus in one of more area with some practical experience in most or all of the others.

  • A growth plan. This is essential. You will be soloing the Marketing function for the company to start, and we will rely heavily on a scalable growth-hacking strategy to drive fast adoption of the platform. We’ll expect the right candidate to bring a plan to the interview that will make it obvious that you’ll have an immediate positive impact on the business.

  • Some web development experience and the ability to create media assets (images, videos, etc) are highly valued

  • Familiarity with automated / programmatic sales and marketing platforms are a big plus. We have some basic tools today, but bringing informed recommendations on scalable platforms will be highly valuable for our long-term growth.

  • You must be fluent in writing both English and Swedish. Our primary market is Sweden today and our future targets will include English-friendly regions. There will be a considerable amount of ongoing web copy, and automated campaign copy to create and update over time.

  • We support remote work environments, but it is highly preferable for this candidate to be within a reasonable commute to and from Stockholm’s city center.

Sales Specialist

VOCEAN is seeking a global Sales Specialist to drive growth and new customer adoption of our digital platform. The position will report directly to the CEO, and will work closely with Marketing and Development to ensure that our positioning and product strategy are optimized for customer acquisition.

VOCEAN is seeking a global Sales Specialist to drive growth and new customer adoption of our digital platform. The position will report directly to the CEO, and will work closely with Marketing and Development to ensure that our positioning and product strategy are optimized for customer acquisition. You will be mainly driving new sales with customers worldwide, which means you will be leveraging programmatic techniques to effectively communicate with our customer base regardless of their time zone. Our key target market will be advertising, marketing, event and consulting agencies in the early days. If you already have a background being part of, or selling into these industries, you’ll have a head start over other candidates.

Who you are:

An entrepreneurial self-starter, you’re motivated by qualifying leads and driving them through the sales funnel to a successful close. What you need:

  • 2-3 years of experience as either a Business Development Rep or Sales Executive, preferably selling B2B SaaS or technical solutions.

  • Experience successfully selling to senior decisions makers (you will be asked to provide examples).

  • At least on year of sales funnel process experience is essential.

  • Experience working in, or selling to Ad, Marketing, PR, or Consulting Agencies is a big plus.

  • Sales experience with international clients highly valued.

  • Experience managing a sales funnel with CRM systems like SFDC, AgileCRM, Pipedrive etc are highly desirable

  • Experience with automated / programmatic sales tools and techniques is also valued

  • Strong spoken and written English skills are necessary.

Technical product coordinator

VOCEAN is seeking a product specialist to help drive our internal product development priorities as well as our external product communication. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a product owner role over time at a company that is poised for huge growth over the next 24-36 months.

For the past few months, our developers have been building the platform and now its time to drive customer acquisition and growth.

VOCEAN is seeking a product specialist to help drive our internal product development priorities as well as our external product communication. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a product owner role over time at a company that is poised for huge growth over the next 24-36 months. In the near-term, your focus will be on managing the product requirements funnel and working directly with our CTO and co-founder, as well as the developer team, on identifying, prioritizing, and scheduling product requirements for future releases. You will also work with our Sales team to gather requirements from the field while balancing customer-driven requirements with internally driven innovation. In addition, you will be responsible for creating product documentation that will be used by Sales and Marketing for outbound communication.

This position will be located in Stockholm with some flexibility to work remotely.

  • 2-3 years of product, technical project management, or developer experience. If the latter, at least 1-2 years of project management experience is required.
  • Experience with agile, scrum, waterfall, and other development methodologies is a must.
  • Experience with digital product and roadmap tools (we currently use ProductPlan for roadmap management) is highly desired
  • Experience (with examples) of working well cross-functionally with developers, creatives, marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Experience creating product collateral and writing knowledge base support documentation will also be highly valued.
  • Experience working closely with UX designers on a B2B or B2C product is also highly valued.
  • Strong spoken and written English skills are necessary.
